Tasty Tuesday | White Pizza Dip & Crispy Grilled Cheese

I tried this recipe for the first time around the holidays and absolutely love it. It’s super easy to throw together and is oh so yummy.

Celebrations of different kinds
Yesterday would have been my moms 50th birthday. So it wasn’t the type of celebration that we are accustomed too but a day that was spent remembering the 49 years that she was here with us. I couldn’t help but think about how on her birthday last year we were in NYC to watch my two younger brothers perform at the national show choir competition. Amazing how drastically things can change in a years time.

My Definition of Beautiful Blessings
Nothing makes me happier than getting to spend time with my family. I always look forward to Saturday because the means a whole day of nothing but fun times with my wonderful husband and our two little munchkins. We always try to find something to do on Saturdays outside of the house. I love to take little day trips but sometimes it can be difficult to just pick up and go with two little ones.

Love and Respect
Just recently, our small group Bible study started a new marriage study called Love and Respect by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs. We are watching the DVD series, but there is an actual book and workbook that you can order here if you are interested. This has been a great study so far and I can’t wait to get deeper into it. If you are looking for a study to do with your husband or wife that will strengthen your marriage and bring you closer, I would highly recommend this to you. It’s common sense stuff that we may not realize is common sense and is scripturally based, which to Jay and I is most important because we always want to honor God in our marriage.

Hey! It’s a start.
I wrote a previous post about linking up with Lynnette over at Dancing Barefoot On Weathered Ground for her Simplifying for Sanity. Well, I failed miserably the first week. So here I am for week #2. We could choose between doing a bedroom or a closet and I didn’t want to over exert myself or anything so I went for the closet
Really though, I am waiting to tackle some jobs until the weather warms up a bit and I can “do it right” and scrub the windows, screens, etc. Since we live in an older home, we only have 3 closets. I really should (more…)
