Initial love and Sprouts

I may have gone a little bit initial crazy. It all started with the shirt for sissy. When I finished that I wanted to keep the creativity going and make something else. My dear friend, Angie, and her husband are expecting their first baby in July and I wanted to make her something for her birthday and thought that a tote with the initial of her last name would be something cute and fun that she could use now for herself and as a diaper bag later for the baby. I thought I should go with something gender neutral as they don’t find out until next week wether they are having a little boy or girl and this is what I came up with:

So then I thought while I was at it, Caroline could use a new girly diaper bag.

There are just so many cute fabrics out there that need to be used that I need to find more things to slap initials on or I am going to have a closet filled with more totes than any one person could ever need. Caroline loves to carry around bags so maybe I should make her a little tote of her very own to match her cute new outfit that I had ordered her:

But the hat will have to go! (She loves to wear Bubba’s winter hat around the house.)

Today I decided to try and pull some of sissy’s hair up and this is what came of that, a little tiny “sprout” on top.
She has fairly long hair but it is longer in some places than others so it wouldn’t work quite yet to put it into a pony tail. I love to put cute barrettes into her hair but as soon as I turn my head for one second that chubby little hand rips it right on out. I’d like to see her try and take the rubberband out.
Nice try sister! That baby’s not going anywhere!
Meanwhile, Joel just sat oblivious to everyone most of the day coloring. I love that sweet little profile of his.
Well, I think that I have rambled enough for the time being. I believe that I hear my pajamas and bed calling my name!
